I grew up in Wanatah, IN, a small town in Northwest Indiana, near my grandparent’s Christmas tree farm. I attended Valparaiso University from 2007-2010, where I was a member of Christ College, the interdisciplinary honors college, and double majored in History and Spanish. Following graduation, I moved to Vermillion, South Dakota to pursue my law degree at the University of South Dakota. I graduated in 2013 having earned my law degree and a Masters degree in History. I successfully passed the bar exam later that year, moved to Richmond, and began practicing law in Wayne County.
I am a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Wayne County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. I am a graduate of the Indiana State Bar Association Leadership Development Academy Class of 2015, and have served on the Leadership Development Academy planning committee ever since. I also serve on the Family and Juvenile Law Section Council through the Indiana State Bar Association. I still enjoy working on my family’s Christmas tree farm and am active in the Indiana Christmas Tree Growers Association, where I have served on various committees and am currently a board member.
I live in Richmond with my husband and son. Despite being new to the area, I am enjoying learning all about what Richmond and the surrounding areas have to offer and look forward to getting involved in the community.
